Free internet for everyone! Google’s Project offers free, superfast WiFi Internet to the World!     Sidewalk Labs which is a Google-owned company that focuses on improving city living through technology innovations, has announced that the company will be rolling out free WiFi to everyone in New York City sometime in September. The plan is to convert over 10,000 New York phone booths into ‘WiFi Pylons’ which will broadcast free Internet access to anyone within 150 feet. Besides free internet, the booths are also intended to provide free cell-phone charging, free domestic phone calling and a touchscreen-based information hub that provides you everything you need to know abofut the city and transit directions.
